Keyence manufactures precision measurement and sensing equipment used across manufacturing quality control and automation. In metering applications, the clamp-on flow sensor lines are the standout: the FD-Q series for water and liquids and the FD-G series for compressed air measure flow from outside the pipe with no cutting, no welding, and no process shutdown.

For a plant that wants departmental water or compressed-air accountability but cannot take a production line down to install inline meters, clamp-on sensing is often the only viable option. Installation takes minutes, the sensor can be relocated as measurement priorities change, and there is no pressure drop or leak path introduced into the piping.
