M&E manufactures positive-displacement bronze water meters with pulse and encoded outputs, built for the submetering applications where durability and repeatability over decades matter more than feature count. Bronze bodies and nutating-disc measuring chambers handle potable and non-potable service and tolerate the water quality found in real building risers.

Positive-displacement technology measures each discrete volume that passes through, which gives it excellent low-flow accuracy — the operating range where most tenant water consumption actually occurs. A pulse output makes integration straightforward: any pulse-input data logger, LoRaWAN node, or building controller can read it.

Emergent Metering uses M&E meters across tenant submetering, cooling-tower makeup, and irrigation applications, typically paired with wireless pulse collection so an entire building's water can be brought online without running new cable.
