Leviton / Obvius

Revenue-grade electric submeters, current transformers, and AcquiSuite data acquisition servers for BACnet, Modbus, and utility-billing deployments.

About Leviton / Obvius

Leviton and its Obvius product line cover the traditional, hardwired end of electric submetering: revenue-grade socket and panel-mount meters, split-core and Rogowski current transformers, and the AcquiSuite family of data acquisition servers. Where accuracy has to hold up to a tenant dispute or a utility-grade billing audit, these are the meters specified — ANSI C12.20 revenue-grade accuracy classes with a documented calibration pedigree.

The AcquiSuite data acquisition server is the workhorse of the line. It polls Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP devices, exposes BACnet/IP to a building automation system, logs locally so no interval data is lost during a network outage, and pushes to a cloud endpoint on a schedule. For campuses that mix meter brands across decades of construction, an AcquiSuite is often the single point that makes everything speak one protocol.

Emergent Metering specifies Leviton and Obvius hardware where billing defensibility matters — multifamily and commercial tenant billing, ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC compliance submetering, and LEED measurement-and-verification plans. We size the CTs, configure the meter and DAS, and commission the point list so the data lands in your dashboard already labeled and validated.
