Leviton's acquisition of Obvius brought together two leaders in energy data acquisition, creating the most comprehensive portfolio of data collection hardware for commercial metering and building automation integration. Emergent Metering offers the full Leviton/Obvius product line for projects requiring multi-protocol data aggregation.
The AcquiSuite A8812 is the industry-standard data acquisition server, supporting Modbus RTU/TCP, BACnet, pulse, and 4-20mA analog inputs with built-in web-based configuration, local data logging, and HTTP/XML/FTP export. The EMHXD-220 expands on this with dual Ethernet and dual Modbus RS-485 ports for larger installations. The ModHopper R9120 provides wireless mesh Modbus-to-IP gateway functionality for sites where running RS-485 cable is impractical.
For branch circuit monitoring, the S7100 BCM series (71D12 and 71D48 models) provides 12 or 48 input monitoring of individual circuits in panelboards — ideal for tenant submetering, data center power distribution, and IECC 2021 end-use monitoring compliance. All Leviton/Obvius products integrate seamlessly with the Panoramic Power PowerRadar dashboard for unified electric and utility metering views.
