Robustel manufactures industrial cellular routers, LoRaWAN gateways, and edge computing devices built for the environments where consumer networking equipment fails — unconditioned mechanical rooms, outdoor cabinets, remote pump stations, and sites with no usable corporate network.

Cellular connectivity is often the fastest route to getting meter data out of a building. It sidesteps IT review cycles, firewall exceptions, and VLAN provisioning entirely: the gateway carries its own private data path, with dual-SIM failover, VPN tunneling, and watchdog reboot logic to keep the link up unattended for years.

Emergent Metering deploys Robustel gateways as the standard connectivity tier for distributed portfolios and remote assets, so a metering rollout does not stall waiting on network access at each site.
