Robustel

Robustel provides industrial-grade cellular routers and LoRaWAN gateways engineered for mission-critical IoT deployments. Emergent Metering deploys Robustel connectivity hardware for metering installations at remote sites, temporary facilities, and locations where wired internet is unavailable or unreliable.

The R1520-LG combines a LoRaWAN gateway with 4G LTE cellular connectivity and an integrated LoRaWAN Network Server (LNS), creating a complete IoT infrastructure in a single device. The R1520 Global dual-SIM 4G router provides carrier-redundant cellular connectivity with automatic failover — ensuring continuous data flow even if a carrier experiences an outage.

The compact R1511 and R1511e routers serve space-constrained installations where a full-size router isn't practical. The R1511e's eSIM/eUICC capability eliminates the need for physical SIM cards, simplifying provisioning across large fleet deployments. RS232 and RS485 serial interfaces on all models enable direct connection to Modbus RTU devices — meters, sensors, and controllers — without additional protocol conversion hardware. Robustel's RCMS cloud management platform enables remote monitoring, configuration, and firmware updates across all deployed devices.
