Milesight

Milesight builds LoRaWAN gateways and battery-powered wireless IoT sensors for temperature, humidity, CO₂, occupancy, leak detection, door state, and pulse metering. LoRaWAN's long range and low power consumption mean a single gateway can cover an entire building or campus while sensors run for years on internal batteries — no wiring, no power drops, no IT switch ports.

That economics changes what is worth measuring. Sensors cheap and simple enough to deploy by the hundred make room-level environmental monitoring, cold-chain temperature compliance, water-leak detection, and occupancy-driven HVAC control financially viable in buildings where hardwired equivalents never penciled out.

Emergent Metering uses Milesight hardware as the sensing layer of the platform — contextual data that explains energy behavior, plus standalone compliance monitoring for FDA, HACCP, and cold-chain requirements. Pulse-input nodes also bring existing dry-contact water and gas meters online without rewiring.
