Integration Components

Emergent Metering's Integration Components collection provides the gateways, controllers, and protocol converters that connect your meters and sensors to building management systems, SCADA, and cloud platforms. These hardware integration components translate analog and digital signals into open-protocol datasets, so energy, flow, and condition data can be shared across a facility and with cloud hosting services in real time. The collection includes LoRaWAN gateways, Modbus-to-LoRaWAN converters, IoT controllers, edge computing gateways, and industrial cellular routers from trusted brands like Milesight and Robustel. Whether you are deploying a wireless sensor network, bridging legacy Modbus equipment, or building an edge-to-cloud data pipeline, these components provide reliable, secure connectivity with support for MQTT, BACnet, Modbus TCP/RTU, and other industrial protocols.Browse the products below to find the right gateway, converter, or controller for your integration project. Integration Components — FAQ

Common questions about this category.

What do integration controllers do?
Integration controllers are edge devices that aggregate meters and sensors over Modbus, BACnet, M-Bus, or pulse, then publish a clean data stream to the Emergent Metering cloud. They are how mixed-vendor fleets become one dashboard.
Which protocols are supported?
Common deployments use Modbus RTU / TCP, BACnet IP, M-Bus, and pulse input. Tridium / Niagara JACE controllers add the broader Niagara driver library when a site needs it.
Is on-site IT involvement required?
Usually not. Cellular bridges in the Connectivity category let an integration controller publish to the platform without touching corporate IT, which is the typical path for multi-site rollouts.
